The Kit Carson County Accounting and Vital Statistics office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Our staff is normally available to assist with Certified Copy Birth and Death Certificate Processing on a walk in basis. Certified copies of birth and death certificates cost $17.00 for the first, and $10.00 for each additional copy. Please refer to Colorado Official Site's list for an up to date list of acceptable documenation necessary to complete your request. This information is required by the State of Colorado for verification of relationship and identity.
